Q: Can the public see art works by Andy Warhol

A: No. The Foundation does not have a public exhibition space. Many of Warhol's works can be seen at museums and galleries throughout the United States and abroad. The largest single collection of his work is on display at

A: The Andy Warhol Foundation controls the copyright to Andy Warhol's artworks, regardless of who owns specific works of art. A: The Foundation does not sell these products directly, but does license the reproduction of Andy Warhol's work to merchandisers for use on various products. A: The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA, shows his films on an ongoing basis. Q: I know The Andy Warhol Foundation gives
grants to arts organizations. Does it ever give grants
to individual artists?

A: The Foundation does not give grants directly to individuals. However, many of the grants that the Foundation gives to non-profit organizations directly furthers the work of individual artists. For example, the Foundation in the past has given money to non-profit organizations in different regions of the country that has been regranted to artists for new, experimental art projects. A: The Andy Warhol Foundation does not appraise Andy Warhol's art work.
