ANDY WARHOL CATALOGUE RAISONNÉ: Paintings, Sculptures and Drawings

The Andy Warhol Catalogue Raisonné: Paintings, Sculptures, and Drawings is a multi-volume, scholarly project that will document all of Warhol’s work in these media.

Volume 1 (Paintings and Sculpture 1961-1963) and Volumes 2A and 2B (Paintings and Sculpture 1964-1969), sponsored by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and Thomas Ammann Fine Art, have recently been published by Phaidon Press. Edited by Neil Printz, Sally King-Nero, and George Frei, each volume comprehensively documents Warhol’s work during a particular period, discussing his source materials and working materials. Catalogue entries for each work include detailed histories of ownership, exhibitions, and literature.

Forthcoming volumes will document Warhol’s paintings and sculptures of the 1970s and 1980s, as well as Warhol’s drawings and early paintings. Volumes 3 and 4, dedicated to Warhol’s paintings and sculptures of the 1970s, are now in preparation.
